What's New

Searching in the docs has never being easier with the new Wappler Tours Search, now you can find the right tour for your learning needs directly inside Wappler, with a powerful search experience that looks beyond tour titles and can find tours by topics, features, and section content, helping you get to the right guide more quickly.

Furthermore we have also improved our problems panel with even more issues detections and smoother experience.

And last but not least - we have fixed a huge amount of issues as reported by the community.

Wappler Docs & Tours Search

  • Added a powerful built-in search experience to Wappler Tours, making it faster and easier to discover the right learning content directly inside Wappler
  • Search now looks beyond tour titles and can find tours by topics, features, and section content, helping users get to the right guide more quickly
  • Results are presented as clean, focused tour cards, making the experience easier to scan and much more user friendly
  • Added helpful breadcrumb context so users can instantly understand where each result fits within the Wappler Tours learning structure
  • Added support for larger result sets with Load more, so users can continue exploring without being overwhelmed
  • Refined the overall search interface with a cleaner layout, clearer hierarchy, and a more polished browsing experience

Wappler Tours

  • Enhanced demo projects HQ tours with more explanation of Server Side Data Bindings
  • Added new tour about Current User Data Binding
  • Fixed the Server Actions: Guided path tour
  • Added more comparissons tours between Wappler and Bubble, Webflow and Wordpress

Problems Panel

  • Improve multi-value Server Connect form validation for uploads, selects, Dropzone, and Tagify
  • Refine Problems Pane validation for multi-value POST inputs to require [] only for controls that actually need it, such as file inputs, Dropzone, and multi-selects
  • Fix false positives when matching client-side array-style field names with Server Connect action inputs
  • Treat Tagify default mode as multi-value and mode="mix" / mode="select" as single-value
  • Accept Tagify’s runtime [] submit behavior without requiring [] to be present in the control name
  • Keep direct quick fixes for missing [] on supported controls and preserve clearer guidance when action metadata needs updating
  • Keep tracking new errors after all errors have been cleaned first
  • Add tests for the convert and validation rules

Docker Manager

  • Use more strong reconciling start strategy of docker containers for the project to ensure docker creates networks and binds always correctly
  • Show also the Web Server, Database and Redis logs also for remote docker targets

FTP manager

  • Fixed SFTP connections on Windows, by using the system included SSH and SFTP
  • Improved host cerficate check to be less lossely for some old hosts.

File Manager

  • Do not await git on initial load
  • Improved also remote view for local targets to be in the webroot if defined
  • Fixed also download for local targets to be in the webroot if defined

Project Options

  • Improve the project links type converter

Project convertors

  • Improve the reliability of the convertors and add various tests for them
  • Improve the convertions in project server models
  • Improve the move to new webroot folder

General

  • Include again the ssh, and sftp with Wappler install
  • Add a dropdown icon next to lists in grids when in inline edit mode
  • Improved brew components installer on Mac, to no longer use the quarantine flag
  • Improved the homebrew installer on MacOS
  • Do not create tour sessions folder within the Wappler folder
  • Improved working with local folder targets and defined webroot folder

New Wappler UI List Control

  • Specially for our new experimental we have developed a new native list control, so the UI looks great and performs well even with thousands of items, and also allows to have a dropdown icon for lists in grids when in inline edit mode, so you can easily open the list editor and select the item you want.
  • Added checkbox style and allow empty selections
  • Added support for sticky first item in list component
  • All lists in Git Manager Experimental now uses the new list component

  • Improved some actions input data

Security Provider

  • Improved editing of users & permissions, the grid are now single click edit

Server Connect Mailer

  • Fixed and also improved recipient dropdown styling

Server Connect Editor

  • Improved the clipboard support for pasting text in inline edit, while retaining also the support for copy and paste of whole nodes

Server Connect PHP 2.9.2

  • Implemented more solid try/catch for PHP 7+
