If I remove what I added in the fix and rescan the error no longer shows up again even though it is an error.
EDIT: I generated a new page and purposesly added content with an error and the scan didn't find it. Seems once you hit zero error and warnings it doesn't scan for new errors?
I have cleared my projects of all errors and warnings. Now when I purposely create an error and rescan it does not find it. I think this is a major bug.
I recall @George saying he would cache the errors to reduce overheads? Maybe that is the issue? What happens if you restart Wappler @brad, maybe it refreshes the cache?
Been restarted and shut down many times over the last couple weeks. Thing is once I have no errors and no warnings, even if I create a whole new file and purposely make an error it doesn't find anything.
I can't really recreate the issue. I fix all the issue reported, then i make an error in one of my pages and the error is immediately reported in the problems panel.
Is this some issue you are experiencing in a specific project/file/error?
Are you sure the problems scan is not paused/disabled?
It’s on all of my projects. My biggest project I know should have many errors and warnings based on what the other projects found doesn’t even find one.
No matter how many times after making an intentional error on any project and pause and start the scan many times it doesn’t find it.
I’m on a Mac using PHP if that makes a difference.
Unfortunately we can’t recreate such an issue in any of the projects we have in our Wappler installations.
Maybe try reinstalling Wappler from scratch.
Unfortunately I have to go back to 7.7.7. I am completely locked out of 7.7.8. So many freakin bugs. Everything I tried to do since updating has broken.
