Wappler 7.0.0 Beta 14 Released

What's New

Just before Christmas we have another great Wappler beta update with a highly requested feature - Open Multiple Wappler Window Projects!

And as a Christmas gift to you it is now here! You can now open multiple Wappler main editors, so you can have multiple projects open at the same time. Just choose "New Project Window" from the tray context menu to open a new window with different project. All open project windows are listed also in the tray context menu for easy switching. Another highly requested feature is the support for multiple domains for certificate generation with Traefik. Just specify the additional domains as comma separated list in the "Additional Domains" target option.

Also another great optimization is the speed of the Wappler main editor as all icons are now SVG symbols, making the editor much faster and more memory efficient.

Furthermore we have fixed many of the reported issues, so you can enjoy the stable Wappler Beta now during the holidays!

If there are no more critical issues, this will be the last beta update for this year and we will continue with more great updates in the new year!

New Multiple Wappler Editor Windows

  • Now you can create multiple Wappler main editors, so you can have multiple projects open at the same time
  • Just choose "New Project Window" from the tray context menu to open a new window with different project
  • All open project windows are listed also in the tray context menu for easy switching
  • Set the project name in the main windows title
  • Pass options changes to all open main windows, so thhings like theme changes can be done on all windows
  • Improved preserving project windows state and size on quit and restore on reopen
  • Use the window number instead of project name to preserve the state even better when switching to different projects later on
  • Improved auto closing all windows on quit
  • Restrict open projects that are already open in a different Wappler project window
  • Execute also "Reset Panel Sizes" from the options to all open project windows
  • Keep the correct state of main windows even when Wappler is only minimized to tray
  • Keep the recent three projects as choices to open in the tray context menu
  • Improve direct project opening
  • Sync projects list between main editor windows, so new projects are always available

Target Management
