What's New
In this Wappler update we have greatly improved our Github Copilot support in the AI Manager, optimizing the usage of Premium Requests to reduce costs and improve performance.
Furthermore we have made many improvements to the AI Manager editing capabilities in the HTML Editor, making the edits more precise and component based.
We are also introducing a whole new AI on-demand knowledge feature in the AI Manager, that allows loading knowledge on demand for better and more specific AI assistance.
This greatly reduces the amount of knowledge we have to give to the AI Manager upfront and so it reduces the context window and token costs.
The AI Manager can now fully on demand load knowledge for Server Connect, App Connect and HTML Editor on demand, when needed.
This is available when enabling the new experimental option for on-demand knowledge.
We have also changed the way of using experimental options in Wappler, removing the generic experimental option and adding specific experimental options that can be enabled or disabled individually. So you can exactly see what experimental features you are using in Wappler. Currently it is just one experimental option for the on-demand knowledge, but more will follow in the future.
Furthermore we have greatly improved the Server Connect UI for editing JSON and templated expressions, making it much easier and reliable to work with these complex data formats.
Finally we have fixed many issues reported by the community, making Wappler more stable and reliable.
Github Copilot Support
- Greatly improved agent mode with Github copilot with optmized premium requests handling! Now Premium requests are used only for user prompts (or when calling editor AI Assistants) but not for each tool call.
AI Manager
- Greatly improved the AI editing in the HTML Editor, so it is done much more precise on component and dom level, instead of just text editing.
- Also improved the editing tooling calls result to include what element was exactly changed, with link on it to select it in design/code view
- Improved the applying diff tools in the html editor so it always works
- Improved further the description for the editing tools in html and code editors
- Added dedicated server connect tools for inspection of server action files
- Added global tools for easier and direct working with the different editors
- Added reasoning to responses
- Removed left-border by reasoning text
- Added extra newlines for when there are multiple reasoning contents
