Different color for comments

At the moment comments have green color.
I think it makes them harder to distinguish, because green is also used in regular action steps (as also white and blue).

Maybe it would be easier, if comments had their own color?

And if so, the question is: what color exactly?
White and blue will have the same problem as green.

Maybe pink will do?

Or orange?

Or even gray?

What do you think?

Purple.
Gray would match disabled steps. Orange is weird.

Whatever colour but italic?

Purple and italic. Sounds good.

Wish granted

Colour should probably be theme dependent.

Nice.

I put mine in UPPER CASE at the moment to make them look different…

My eye has kinda got used to them being comments…

Perhaps then it would be appropriate that the comments were not configured in advance, and we ourselves could make font, color and case settings. Everyone would be able to get the comments they would like to see.

I disable the Comment step to make it a muted green.

You are genius, thank you! Now I going to do the same.

Indeed. It seems like an easy fix for comment readibility.
@George, can it be a thing? Comments disabled by default. Or just remove the option of enabling/disabling them but used the muted font always.

No thanks.

I’m happy with them the way they are unless a whole new colour scheme becomes possible.

Well you could change them from disabled to enabled to get that bright colour if that’s your thing

Comments need some work on them as they have a font scheme that gives them the same importance/prevalence as actions and that probably shouldn’t be the case.

Disabling the output as default seems like an easy fix for this Feature Request.

This has been improved in Wappler 5.2.6
