Came across a post that stated the Youtube video component did not work in 7.0.0 6 and it still looks like it does not work in 7.0.0.17 is their a work around?
Wappler has a YouTube component? I have never seen. that.
But maybe you can explain a bit more on what is not working?
There's no youtube component in Wappler.
Please explain what are you trying to do.
- goto project settings
- change to own server
- goto extensions
- add wappler youtube extension
5)save - does not show in components when asked to add to the page.
- reboot
- same problem.
In fact this is not a Wappler component, is a user made extension.
What kind of server are you using? Maybe is only available for NODE. Lot of extensions are only for Node.
looking at wappler 5/6 - how to I am trying to follow the video gallery tutorial. When following the tutorial we goto the NPM repository and select the wappler youtube player package. change to own server, add the name and save. This action should save the extension in the extensions area under projects settings. 6.8.0 it shows up and ready to use, not in 7.0.0 6 - 17.
I guess I should have asked how to add youtube videos to wappler.
You may have to contact the developer of the extension for support as it isn't a native Wappler feature.
For those confused about the YouTube component, it's a great user extension from the amazing @ben
