I’m not sure if it’s just me, but after downloading the latest version today, it feels noticeably slower. Almost every click has about a one-second delay before it responds.
Has anyone else experienced this? Also de CPU usage fires to the sky…

I’ve noticed a definite slowness. Not sure which update I started noticing it on, but things do seem slow to me. At first I thought it was because I had way too many windows open, but after closing them and going to a more limited number it still seems slow and that I have to wait a lot? Was going to post about it, but saw your post, so decided to comment on it.
Windows 10, m$ SQL, and wappler ver 7.9.1
Do note that your page is actually running in Wappler's design view, so execution goes on all the time.
I see that you are having a background video and many other interactive elements - so those can slow down Wappler just as they will do the webbrowser.
That’s not my issue I don’t think. Even when working in straight code view sometimes things seem really slow. I have a project that is desperately due and over due, and that could be part of my problem too. But I have been using this for a while and I can recognize slow? I’m too busy at the moment to show examples. After I get this project finished/updated I can circle back…
The same problem. Wappler 7.9.1, Win10.
I open very simple project (no video etc). If i just open wappler settings it tooks 3-5 sec to show it.
Or if I open project settings → targets it tooks about 3 sec too…
This has never been seen before.
Was working all day yesterday and it was extremely slow. Even saving pages took up to 5 seconds. Working with serverconnect actions it is still lightning fast. But trying to do anything at all on a page file it is very slow - even in code only view with App Connect toggled off. I'm on a Mac Intel system.
I wish I knew which version the slowness started on, I would just roll back to that? Maybe if update comes out tomorrow it might help things? Will have to wait and see. This just happens because I have a huge site that is due to be launched… UHG
Out of curiosity, do the pages you notice this on have things like collapses, conditional regions, accordions? When I’ve experienced slowness like this, it has seemingly been the common factor
My slowness hasn’t been that
We have indentified a big slow down problem occurring on selections in the html editor that causes the issues.
Will be solved in the next update.
This should be improved now in Wappler 9.7.3, so please check it.
The difference is definitely noticeable. THANK YOU SO MUCH
