What’s New

Well we couldn’t wait for the new year to bring you the next Wappler update, so here it is! A great Christmas present for all of you!

Stability and reliability is our main focus in this update, so we have fixed all the issues reported in the community and also improved the overall stability and reliability of Wappler.

We thank you all for your support and feedback and we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Flow Editor

  • Improved editing of flows that involve adding additional components with head includes.

Docker Projects

  • Improved docker PHP projects to use directly the PHP native docker image

Database Connector and Updater

  • When detected missing table or column, now offer a choice to refresh schema
  • Use the native query with the right escaping when switching from Simple to Custom Query in Postgres databases

Database Manager

  • Improved the Database Connections for mobile apps to be SQLite and also PouchDb/CouchDB

Visual Expressions Builder

  • Improved data view filter pickup with data from main page in NodeJS
  • Improved working with more complex data stuctures

  • Improved editing of flows that involve adding additional components with head includes.

  • Minor improvements of Page Properties internals
  • Improved reliability of the data binding picker in grids of the property inspector

Bootstrap Icons

  • Always include the minified version of the Bootstrap Icons css file

Server Connect

  • Improved save of new global modules in PHP, like Db connections, Security providers etc.

NodeJS

  • Improved CouchDB update and delete actions for NodeJS

App Connect 2.0 beta 20

  • Updated the fetch component used in Server Connect and API calls to better handle other http methods like DELETE.
