Intro
You can upgrade Capacitor in your mobile project, whenever there is a new major version available. Along with upgrading the Capacitor version, your project files will also be migrated to the new version.
Updating Capacitor
The update process is really easy.
Open your mobile project in Wappler:
In the bottom toolbar click the Update button:
Whenever there’s a new major Capacitor version available, a confirmation popup will show, showing you the latest version available and asking whether do you want to upgrade your project or no. Click Yes:
You can see the progress in the bottom panel:
Once it’s done you will see a success notification.
If there’s no new Capacitor version available, clicking the update button will update the platform modules to the latest versions.
