Security Provider has no Secret

Wappler Version : 3.7.1
Operating System : mac
Server Model: node
Database Type: maria
Hosting Type: docker

Expected behavior

Upon creating a new global security provider, a default secret key should be pre-filled

Actual behavior

It is blank on first attempt. If I delete the newly created security provider, and then create a new one, it works as expected.

How to reproduce

chrome_debug.log.zip (4.6 KB)

Do you mean it doesn’t save your secret key when you enter it?

No, I mean it does not prefill a value upon creating a new security provider. Normally, a value is pre-filled, and I don’t have to provide a key.

PHP seems unaffected, just created new security provider and a Secret key was pre-filled automatically.

Same thing happened to me once

me too . . .

Well guys, just add the secret yourself… You don’t really need the default value for the security provider to work.

I’m also having this bug…

What type of key do I need to add manually?
Should it have lower+upper case letters and numbers or just numbers?
What is the length of the key?

This is just a random string you enter there.

Ok Tnx
