Project Assets Updater keeps requesting update even after updating

Wappler Version : W6B15
Operating System : Mac M1
Server Model: NodeJS
Database Type: MySQL
Hosting Type: Docker

Expected behavior

What do you think should happen?

I should be able to update, and then not be asked to do the same again the next time I restart Wappler.

Actual behavior

I update, which is confirmed in console. I then close Wappler, open it back up again and it asks me to update the same items again.

Which files are you requested to update?

I’ll screen shot it as soon as I can. The updater appears on open and I simply accept and update.

Yes and it shows which files it wants to update, so please check this.

@Teodor on launch I get this. I’ve also checked the force update for both, which creates a larger list (below) - I ‘Update’ both with no errors, yet on the next time I open Wappler the modals appear again.

Are you using git and recently checked the project out from the remote repository? As then file dates get reset.

Once updated by the updater it should be all fine thought.

Can you make a screenshot of the bootstrap 5 css file first few lines (where it shows the version), located in the bootstrap/5/css/bootstrap.min.css?

I believe we see this update dialogue as we use Custom Bootstrap in the Framework selection?

I have a similar issue on my Capacitor project (This stopped happening on the Server project). Just been living with it. I am also using custom bootstrap files. Not sure if that is the common link.

See image below. Noting I’m not using any custom bootstrap.

Have you used the theme manager to customize bootstrap?

Yes, I have used the theme manager on my site.

Well when theme manager is used and a new bootstrap version is available, then the theme will be recompiled and also offered as update.

I have used the Theme manager to customize bootstrap, at the beginning of the project.

However, I have not since and have not had this modal appear every-single-time I open the program. I have updated, deployed to git, no new git changes etc. etc. and every single time I open the program, this appears - which has not happened before, and so is not expected behaviour. Looking forward to a fix.

Fixed in Wappler 6 RC1
