I like most of the recent changes in W7 but I'm finding too many results being returned when searching for items in the server actiosn and wondered if anyone else is finding it frustrating.
I get that, in principle, it should make finding things easier, but items I used to type just a few letters to find are now taking much more
for example - searching for the Security Restrict step: rest would be enough previously to get it to the top of the list (even res would be on the top row)
Bump - this is increasingly annoying when using Wappler heavily. There are so many times, now, that items, that would have previously been the only thing on display after a couple of characters, now languish in a sea of icons. Sometimes they don't even show on the first page of a visible set of results.
Please either tighten up the fuzzy search or, IMHO, remove it entirely
We have greatly improved the fuzzy search in the next beta - so you will see way better results matching the previous search but also fuzzy search as well.
We have implemented a new algorithm for the fuzzy search that takes letter distance in account and gives much better results.
