I know that most of the panels seem to be intuitive. So when I came to the step of setting the param for a delete record flow, I noticed that there wasn’t an area to set the param for the post variable.

Yes, I was. It appears that I set the delete server action to a $_POST variable (which is normal for a delete server action), and not the $_GET variable the instructions advise!
An easy oversight that might lead you to the same dead-end place where I ended up.
Hopefully this error on my part will help.
