Installing and using Netdata on Cloud Servers in Resource Manager

Intro

Netdata is a real-time, open-source monitoring tool designed for effortless insights into the health and performance of your systems. Its intuitive dashboard empowers users with visual metrics, making it an ideal solution for individuals and communities without the need for extensive coding expertise.
You can install Netdata on your cloud servers easily using the Resource Manager in Wappler.

Installing Netdata

Installing Netdata on your cloud server as as easy as installing any other service in Resource Manager:

Under your cloud server right click Services then select Add Service > System > Netdata:

And click Deploy:

The required services will be installed on your server:

And you will see a success notification, when it’s done:

Netdata Configuration

Once Netdata is installed you can configure it.
Click the service configuration button:

And you can see the options available. Here you can set the port this service is running on as well as the access to it:

Select Allow Access in order to allow access to its dashboard:

Select whether you want to be able to access it from everywhere or from specific IPs:

If you select Specific IP, enter your IP or a comma separated list of IPs and click Apply:

Once your changes are applied you can click the Dashboard button in order to bring up the Netdata Dashboard:

That’s it, you can see the dashboard:
