It seems I cant run act mode in the AI assistant. Im using GPT-5.3-codex.
Have you tried switching to Ask mode and then back to Act mode?

It seems I have to tell AI what mode it’s in, It doesnt recognise changes in the select
You are correct, I've confirmed that the current implementation only tells the LLM about the mode in the system prompt when a new chat is started. When changing the mode in an existing chat it will not know about the new mode unless you tell him.
Will add the mode as extra context with each user message so that it knows which mode it is all the time. For now you have to tell it that you switched the mode until the next Wappler update.
