Generate PDF from iframe?

Hi,

Could someone tell me if it's possible to generate a PDF from an iframe? I've heard Wappler added PDF generation or something, but I'm not familiar with it...

Not iFrame related but I have also heard that wappler had some sort of PDF generator. I have yet to see it in the wild. And I have searched ...... no idea where such a creature lives in Wapplerland. :frowning:

Yes,wappler has an app connect pdf creator. Personally i have never used it but i believe you just need to point it at the page you want to convert, in your case this will be the iframe target.

Have tried it but found it to be very basic. Working on a Puppeteer server-side solution at the moment. Need to dynamically personalise the document with name etc.

Was just going to suggest the same thing. Puppeteer works really well once you get the styles tuned in you can grab exactly what you see (we did this in our SEO tool). Many PDF libraries lack style support. The only one we ever found that did work well was from Kendo but it was not cheap! Suffice to say the Client footed the cost but we also, at the time, reaped the benefits.

I figured out how to add it to your page but can't get it to print out any content.

Under content property settings only thing available is 'None'. Therefore I just get blank pages.

You need to assign a row or column to convert to a PDF content section.

Hmm how do you assign them? I tried adding ids.
