Creating new project from git repository

Expected behavior

What do you think should happen?

Create project from github and all done

none of the project settings came across when creating a project from Git.

How to reproduce

Create a new node project form git

What the settings should look like

What it came out as

When I enter the the settings I can’t save it

How did you create the project from github?

Just a new project and specify clone url?

Btw those mongo extensions looks awesome!

I’ve been seeing something similar when choosing one of the ways to clone, but haven’t taken the time to research more.

But when cloning, I do find this

works better than this:

Please see attached. I am most likely doing it wrong. As for the mongo. starting to use it on a production solution from Monday so hopefully we get the instructions sorted.

Yes you need to click on the clone icon as Ken mentioned:

Then you will get a different dialog where you can just add your github url:

and press clone.

Trying it now.

Ok I had to do the following to get it done. Thanks for the advise sent me in the right direction.

We have an icon for that:

But I will see that we improve that workflow in the next update
