Can we create server side custom formatters?

@George, I would like to create a simple server side formatter to generate random bytes. I added what I wanted to cypto_rules.js and crypto.php and the custom formatter displays in Wappler Editor and also updates the appropriate files on my server. So all is working as desired at the moment.

Will this be overwritten by a Wappler upgrade?

Is there a better way for us to enhance Wappler with items like this?

Want to know this too. Can you maybe explain briefly how you added a formatter to crypto.php and how you call this formatter from the server action?

I have no tutorial yet, but I replied in several topics how to create a custom formatter in PHP. Do not edit an existing formatter file, you risk that it gets overwritten by Wappler.
