Does anyone know what’s causing this. Suddenly all my sites - about 6-7 of them in Wappler are returning 530 login authentication errors. I have spent the last 3-4 hours with Hostgator (my provider) and they tell me the sites are working fine - ie they can’t replicate the error. I can use the Hostgator File Manager to get my files and images up with no problem. But SUDDENLY from inside Wappler none of my changes will upload. I have changed nothing in my target settings and as far as I know my ftp setup is correct. Anybody any ideas? DO I need to install an update? (I am being reminded to install update 7.8.0. I can’t update my project files - NOTHING.!
A 530 error usually means the server is rejecting the login before the connection is fully established.
Not sure if this is related: SSL certificate is not trusted by the FTP client - Wappler General / Bugs - Wappler Community. This discussion shows that the problem has been fixed in Wappler 7.7.8 and the discussion has been unlisted. But it has not helped me. I now have to use FileZilla to publish my sites.
FileZilla gives me the option to bypass the SSL Certificate.
Well if you still have the issue, simply open a new bug topic. We don't know you still have issues with this unless you report them.
