Why doesn't Wappler make Connections available by the NAMES I have assigned?

I see tutorials where the authors save Connections by their own distinctive names so that they are not confused by generic “serverconnect1”, “serverconnect2”

So when I do a complete save of the project up to this point and SAVE the Action Steps files and Connection Files
when I want to add that new connection to a page Wappler doesn’t give me the option of picking the NAMED connection I made.

It keeps dictating “serverconnect2” etc.

There should be a select options – displaying all the connections I have named so that I can assign the specific one with my specific name.

Hello
Let’s start with a simple question - what exactly do you call a “connection”?
Are you referring to the database connection step?

What is the purpose of being able to NAME a particular database connection?

If I have 3 different databases with their own particular connections
Why are they presented as generic “connection1” or “connection2”

when I am in the APP window ADDING A NEW COMPONENT?

This is where I want to Add a New Component – Data Server Connection and see Options to select one of my helpfully named Connections.

The purpose is that you can reuse the database connections in your different server actions.

Components naming in App Structure has nothing to do with a database connection step name in a server action.
Also - a server action is not equal to a database connection. The database connection is a part (step) of your whole server action.

What you call/load/run on the page using App Connect is not just your database connection step, but the whole server action.
