I am curious what folks are finding to be the best model to use with Wappler? From the code building side.
Claude has come on leaps and bounds in the past month or two (but is subject to your subscription level and limits of course).
Claude is doing great job, best/cheapest option is to use through Github Copilot.
Thank you, I currently have a subscription for ChatGPT and looking for add Claude as it seems to shine when it comes to coding. Just was curious what others were using.
I'd say the most economical thing to do is use Open Router (either with Cline in VSC or in Wappler with its Open Router connectivity) and that way you always get your moneys worth rather than having separate subscriptions. At least that way you can test everything and find what you like with just a few Dollars in credit. Now that Claude has sorted itself out (and GPT 5) the next best option is actually Copilot for ten Dollars a month which will give you access to everything Claude and GPT related (and is Wapplers default AI integration choice). The included models (unlimited usage) are not so great for code but seem to be OK'ish for UI work (I say that tentatively though). The premium models such as Claude 4 and 4.5, and Chat GPT 5, are obviously the superior choice for that type of thing though (personally I think Claude does the better job with code and UI/UX)... Just my personal input.
