Hi.
Since forever, I remember seeing a “make repeat children” button showing up in the UI for DIV elements.
Since last month or two, I don’t see that anymore.
Has this functionality been removed, or does it require some specific type of div?
To get around this, I have to add another “Repeat Children” element from picker, fill the expression and then move the repeat & key attributes from the new div to where I actually want to use it in code view and delete new div.
Unfortunately, the “repeat” is not recognised by the UI in existing div… so I can’t really use the picker if I want to change the expression in the future. Only option is to build the binding somewhere else and then place it in code view.
If someone could shed some light on this, it would be great.
P.S.: Although I live in code view, I have been using the properties panel quite a bit since the pickers are now much improved, so would like this part to be working great as well.
This is just a Wappler definition. Row type is also just another div. And any type of element can actually have repeating items inside them.
It makes sense to me to allow repeat children for all DIV elements - irrespective of what class is added.
That will repeat div itself, if I am not mistaken. I need repeat-children.
I concur with that sentiment. Allow the user to decide and be responsible for it. I often repeat many items manually with no issues at all, infact no issues have ever come of doing this.
