What Wappler Can't Do

Hi Wappler veterans, I was about to ask questions on what wappler can do but I think there are too many to enumerate by the one who is going to respond or reply, so I then decided to ask. What are the common Web and Mobile Applications that Wappler CANNOT Do? Thanks very much!

Hi.
Just like the questions/answers around what it can do, what it can’t do is also very use case specific.

As a simple example - Wappler can’t do PDF generation, but it can do it using custom modules on server side, and thrid party JS libraries on client side.

We have found that almost everyhing that can be done on Web can be done on Wappler.
There might be caveats or workarounds involved - but no way to know until we have a specific use case.

We haven’t built any mobile apps on Wappler yet. So can’t comment on that.

I'll pick up here. Wappler can build great mobile applications and you can incorporate a multitude of plugins supported by Capacitor, and any other scripts you care to implement. Framework 7 and Bootstrap based applications are well documented within the Community. The only thing Wappler can not do with regards to mobile is submit to the respective providers stores (Play Store and App Store), or sign the applications, but again that is documented to some capacity here on the Community. Push notifications are probably the only other feature that is not out of the box so to speak, but can be resolved with a little head scratching and time on Stack Overflow. Saying that am sure at some point the Team will take a look at some way to provide for this... Aside from those areas Wappler is as competent as the Developer using it. Can't say we have found anything that we can't do. Its all down to what you can do...
