What Is the Half Life of Code?

What could be causing every security restrict script to add spaces site-wide? It started about 2 - 3 months ago. I fix them, and then they happen again. So far three times. See attached images below.

I cannot think of anything that would have caused the following results:

AFTER I REINSTALLED THE RESTRICT SCRIPT

This app was built back in March of 2018 has functioned perfectly for almost six years.

Lately, there have been various areas of code that recently fail for no apparent reason. For example, these drop-down menus failed to operate properly in the last few weeks or so.

Please note the image below (they no longer dropdown).

Maybe it’s js updates or the lack thereof that have led to this… but I really don’t know. I just need to know what to do ASAP.

Thank you for any suggestions, solutions, tests or recommendations will be very appreciated.

I tried and had no problem

But I can see this:

Of course, it’s not an issue, but when I click save it “auto formats” the code inserting spaces.
Let me tell you that this behavior only happens when a security restrict option is added.

Thanks for your help.
What does this ‘base’ do? <base href= "/ whatever / ">
Is this the option to which you refer?

No, what I was saying was about the auto format that Wappler make after “add something and save a file”.
When I create a file and save it, the code is all compacted.
When I add something else, like security provider, it seems it auto format the code like:

Honestly, I don’t think it’s fully related, but it’s something I see and just trying to help.

Every page you add the security restrict comes with the spaces you showed?

You know I really can’t say what or when this happens. I was updating some pages and after the page saved and uploaded to the server, this error would show up. It showed itself by presenting a blank page. I must tell you that I was struck with panic at first, but then as I looked more closely, it was then I saw the altered restrict script. I was really confused at what may have caused it… frankly, I’m still rattled. Ha!
