What do you think about Stripe Atlas?

Hello everybody, for those who doesn't know (but judging for my english is very obvious) I’m from South America, where Stripe is unfortunately unavailable, except in Brazil

Recently, I’ve been researching reviews about Stripe Atlas:

But, I’d like to hear your thoughts (if you have one) about it

While Paddle seems promising and I successfully integrated it into a project without any issues, I'm particularly interested in getting more information about the possibilites of using Stripe

Any insights would be greatly appreciated

This sounds very interesting and would be a very important marketing feature if added to Wappler.

In fact, this would help increase my client base where startups are concerned.

Doesn't that only apply to USA businesses? I think that is a pretty small Wappler market. I don't see how that has anything to do with Wappler?

Maybe I just don't understand what it's suppose to do?

If you're happy with Paddle stick with Paddle. Only consider Stripe Atlas if your intent is to formally open a business. Btw you also have Estonia e-Residency for business formation (but probably Stripe Atlas is best for you)

Hello! I already used Stripe Atlas. It is quite simple to incorporate an American LLC and price is very low comparing other competitors. BUT you must remember that after you must find a chartered accountant to make some annual papers. So it is a cost you must add. But in general it is very nice service and you will get a ready made stripe account.

Hi @ben Thanks, yes, that's the point, I hope many features for startups like that come, breaking some boundaries. :slight_smile:

Hey @brad The problem, for me, and I guess, for many people:
If you're not from this country list then you'll probably can't use Stripe at all.
That's why many C-Corp and L.L.C are created (from other countries) and Stripe Atlas "Create an LLC for you" on few steps, and a really low price...
Honestly, I'm not convinced at all, a little afraid of hidden payments and all that stuff, that's why I'm asking if anybody knows about this.

Well It's not related with Wappler, so off-topic coffee lounge here..
But I find the opinion of Wappler users very valuable so I hope I don't bother anyone with this topic.
