What do I need to know before I use Wappler (Coding)

Hi everyone, I searched this forum but I can’t seem to find a complete answer.

I was wondering if I needed to know how to code to use Wappler and If so, what do I need to know? I already know a little about coding (HTML, CSS, some PHP, Bootstrap)

Since it’s only a 7-day trial, I wanted to spend the time learning how Wappler software works instead of brushing up my coding skills.

So before I start my trial, I wanted to see if I needed to refresh my skills.

Hello, it’s not required to have any coding skills to use Wappler.
Your knowledge of basic HTML/CSS/Bootstrap will definitely help you as you have a more clear understanding of how a website functions and / or how a Bootstrap 4 layout should be created (in terms of container > row > column structures).

HTML, CSS, some PHP, Bootstrap is a great start. Most things can be done visually however a basic knowledge of JavaScript would be a help where something cannot be done directly via the UI as App Connect is a JavaScript framework.

As someone who is in a similar position, I would 100% recommend a basic understanding of HTML and CSS. I have been using Wappler for a while now and I find myself editing HTML / CSS pretty much every time I use it.

Agree with the comments here…before recently I knew nothing about any coding, but had built 2 websites on WordPress/elementor.

I had done some Udemy courses and had made it through the basic HTML and CSS parts before moving on to Wappler. Even that basic stuff has helped me alot, I often find myself working I split screen mode and editing the code sometimes but definitely adding custom CSS in the style sheet.

I often find myself checking things on w3 school to getter understanding of how the element works in Wappler, and knowing the bootstrap structure and terms has helped me a lot as well.
