They offer VPS and managed services but primarily shared hosting based on the cloud infrastructure you choose (DO, AWS, Azure etc.). Very reasonable prices and some of the best technical support I’ve come across by ticket, live chat or phone.
I’ve been using their cPanel hosting for about 6 months now, no issues, very fast, I believe my accounts are on a DO or Linode box. Support for Node apps also.
I moved from fast2host to an outfit called WebWiz https://webwiz.co.uk they are based in Poole in the UK, I have a reseller account with them and host quite a number of websites. In my second year with them now and very happy. They have most Windows and Linux technologies with both mySQL and SQL available, also a very good SMTP service and solar powered to boot!

Has anyone any good or bad experience with Heroku or Digital Ocean?
I’m looking at where to host my NodeJS/MySQL Web Application and in this thread no one mentioned these service providers so was keen to understand why?

I’ve used both and pretty happy with them.
I see two things in common with all the previous options given: managed (shared)hosting and cpanel.
Probably why DO and Heroku are not mentioned.
