WarrantyKeeper - Digital drawer for your purchases and warranties

Hello everyone!

I am excited to announce the public launch of WarrantyKeeper, a web application that I have been diligently developing for the past six months.

How many of us have experienced the frustration of missing out on claiming a warranty simply because we lost or misplaced the purchase receipt? Or maybe we just didn’t have the time to file it properly? It happens more often than we think, and what’s worse is that sometimes we don’t even realize that the warranty is still available on the defective item. With WarrantyKeeper, these worries become a thing of the past.

Think of it as your digital drawer, where you can keep track of your purchases and associated warranties in a convenient manner. What sets WarrantyKeeper apart is its ability to keep your record-keeping neatly organized and accessible with just a few clicks. You can quickly access information about the warranties available on any item, ensuring that you never miss out on a potential claim.

Additionally, users can upload photos and PDFs related to their items, receive automated reminders and notifications, as well as keep a record of services or claims made for each item. This software-as-a-service (SaaS) product offers two subscription options along with a free tier for up to 4 users and 3 items.

The app has been designed and developed in Wappler. It is available as a PWA, installable on both mobile and desktop devices for quick access. I invite you to explore the features of WarrantyKeeper with a free sign-up!

To our wonderful Wappler community, I am also offering a 25% discount on the first year of subscription if you decide to extend your record-keeping beyond 3 items. Please apply this Coupon Code during the checkout, WKWAPPLER25, to avail the discount. The coupon code is valid until June 30, 2024.

We value your feedback and would love to hear your thoughts on the application. Your input will help me continue to improve and provide you with the best user experience possible.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Wappler team and amazing community, I couldn’t have done it without your support. So once again, thank you for your ongoing support, and I can’t wait for you to experience the convenience of WarrantyKeeper firsthand.

Thank you.

Looks amazing! Nice work!

However it won’t let me sign up … problem setting a password.

Edit: Nevermind, I had one too many characters. I would suggest raising your character limit to 16 as most password generators such as LastPass will use 16 characters.

Thanks for the positive feedback, Brad!

Good point re: the password length. I have now increased it to accept up to 22 characters.

The updated web app is available for the sign-up

Looks great! Congratulations on the release.

Just wanted to add to the group saying great job on WarrantyKeeper!

I signed up and everything worked smoothly. Emails came through without any spam folder issues, Safari was able to autofill the OTP code from your email messages without me going to the message in Mail (love that).

I missed a few of the toast messages, but once I noticed where they came up I kept an eye out.

I really liked the Claims/Interactions feature on each item. I had an extended claims process after a vehicle damage claim, and a system like this would have been convenient to have kept my interaction notes in one place... depending on how you created the backend, maybe there are some other niches that can utilize the API/database you have in place  :beers:

Hi Stephen,

Thank you for taking the time to providing me with positive and constructive feedback. I am glad to know that the process of signing-up and receiving an OTP in an email had gone through without any issues

I will look at making further improvements to displaying of messages on the successful completion of processes / tasks in the app to provide a better user experience.

I really appreciate the details you shared with me about the features you liked in the app and how these can help users in maintaining their warranties and claims in a single platform. I haven't setup any process for external developers to access the database via APIs, but it would be certainly something worth exploring :beers:
