Also delete those old wappler tutorials off of youtube… another waist of time… especially the Gallery one…it has changed so much since nov 18… that you just can’t figure it out… I admit am not the sharpest knife in the drawer… Too much jumping around… if you guys hope to make this a serious software which it could be… you have to approach it from the point of view of a person who never programmed or created a database before… I have support dmxzone since…the mid 2000s… I have hope for wappler… but you must stop building this software from the point of view of a wiz php javascript programmer with 20+ years of experience… unless this sofware is Only for those with experience… which it is… but not for beginners… at this point I can program faster without wapper… wappler gets in the way and waists my time…

This brings up a smile of recognition on my face. I have been there too. But here I still am, totally abandoned DW and only working with Wappler now. For the Youtube tutorials “especially the Gallery one”. That specific tutorial by @ben saved my Wappler life.
So just stick to Wapller, don’t hesitate to ask for help or further explanation (as I did, which made @ben make that tutorial in the first place) and all will come to you.
To be fair, I think @medleyr3 has a point.
I believe that the growing market for tools like Wappler is the non programmer market.
Wappler’s documentation and usability for these people evaluating the product is not good enough to bring most of them over from tools like Bubble. I know that as I have many Bubble friends who have told me so.
I am okay now, but the learning curve was far steeper than I ever imagined.
This is a decision for the team to make about whether to put more of their amazing resources into new features or non programmer usability!

In a bizarre kind of way, I like the fact that even if a client wanted to invest and buy Wappler to do it themselves, they wouldn’t be able to. I struggled for some time until ‘I got it’ and now I absolutely love it. So being a Wappler dev has a similar skillset as a PHP dev or JS dev. I like that.
