Does this forum and the actual Wappler App use the same passwords?
Reason I ask is. that I want to strengthen my password for the forum but leave a simple easy to remember one for the actual app.

Yes, Wappler uses the same user credentials as the community.
Darn, that’s unfortunate. Thanks!
Sorry. It had to be done and I have a badge reputation to maintain.
Edit: I think you actually meant to keep forum stronger to increase precisely access to billing and payment details. But you know...just in case. Meme still valid. My assumption not so much
Do you not use a Password manager Brad? Would recommend BitWarden (Used to be a LastPass advocate until LogMeIn recently decided to screw the free tier)
@JonL your photoshop skills are improving!
Still on free tier here with Lastpass Max.

Self-hosting is possible also and a plus.
Just setting up LastPass. Doesn't help for logging into Wappler app though. So I guess I have to keep a simple password for Wappler.
Well how often do you need to log into Wappler app? Just use a strong password for both community/account site don’t use weak passwords for any reason.
I log in to the Wappler app 2-4 times a day.
What’s the reason for that? I log in like once a month and only if I need to test something related to the login/new user process.
For security reasons. If my laptop got stolen anyone would have access to all my projects and files.
They will have all your files anyway in the project folders, no Wappler needed to access them
But they can’t upload to the live site. Or delete files from the remote site. I’m not worried about my local files. I keep back ups of those. It’s the live sites that I am concerned with.
Your ftp data is accesible from outside the app.
Don’t lose your laptop. Encrypt your hard drive if losing it is something that could happen.
I realize that Jon, but why make it easy for the crooks?
Do you not password protect your machine? Or use Bitlocker/FileVault?
Ah, I suppose there is that. I never considered that the laptop has it’s own password. Good point.
You can also invest these days in hardware USB keys too like YubiKey which adds another layer of security to your machine and online services that support it
I’m probably just being a bit too paranoid. Over thinking things like usual.
