Operating sytem: Linux (fedora 36)
Wappler version: 5.2.3
I have an issue with certain windows being opened on other monitors.
When I start Wappler, it starts on my second monitor. Not my primary monitor
I move the wappler window to my primary monitor, and start working
I for example open a ‘Server data bindings’ window, which is opened on the second monitor again. I move it to the primary and re-open the window, but it again opens on the second monitor.
PS I’m currently on linux but am also having this issue on W11 on my other machine.
I can confirm to have experienced this issue as well. But only on my colleagues’ machines. I use single screen.
Its SOOOO annoying. Also, to move them, have to use schortcut Windows+Shift+Arrow-Key to move picker windows. Query builder can be moved via mouse I think.
I’m not sure about Linux or Windows but on a Mac you can set which is the default monitor in your display settings. Perhaps Wappler always opens on display designated as default display. Could be the same for Linux and Windows.
I get the same (windows 11).
ironically i thought it is because i actually don’t normally have Wappler open on what i have set as the main monitor, I work on my secondary.
I can however easily just drag the window from one monitor to the other if i need to so it’s only a minor inconvenience.
Once dragged into the correct place it will continue to open correctly until Wappler is closed
(It opens on the left one, 2, when it should open on 3).
In linux it looks a bit different from windows, but perhaps it’s taking a chronological order.
For some reason my OS decided to have my primary display as display 3. display 1 is disabled
So then display 2 becomes my first display.
