Hi,
Windows did an update yesterday when I turned my PC on and now Wappler 5 won’t load fully, all I get is a black screen with the windows program bar still showing at the bottom…
In the Task manager Wappler Beta is running and the only way to close the program is to end the task.
I have restarted my PC several times and tried stooping Wappler 4 before trying to run the Beta, but with now sucess.
Please let me know whats the best course of action

I have now uninstalled and re-installed Beta 7 but still not getting the program to load…
What do you see exactly when you start Wappler?
Is the tray icon active? Try opening Wappler from there.

I don’t see anything, just the dark background. Program loads and I see the new Wappler logo, then nothing, none of the menus etc appear. Also nothing in the icon tray except the Wappler 4 which I’m having to use.
Oh I see that you might be having a conflict with Wappler 4 - the icon in the tray indicates that Wappler 4 is running, while you are starting Wappler 5 beta.
Wappler 4 is probably loaded automatically to the tray on startup, so you can right click on it and quit before starting the Wappler 5 beta.
It has never been a problem until last nights Windows update, W4 would happily run in the background along with W5.
I have stopped W4 and tried to start W5 again but same thing, get the opening logo then just a blank screen;
I’ve noticed it takes two clicks of the W5 taskbar icon to get the program to load and the logo to appear. Then once I get the blank screen it takes another two clicks to close the program.

Is there anything you can suggest I try in an attempt to get W5 working again?
Uninstalled everything again, deleted any folders relating to W5 Beta. Searched wappler beta in the registry and deleted everything found.
Then installed W5 Beta 5.0.0 and let it do updates to 5.0.7 and W5 is back working again…
