In the current version 7.0.1 of Wappler Desktop for macOS, there are display issues with the context menus (right-click menus) in the App Connect component – particularly in the “Properties” section of elements:

  • Each right-click opens a separate new window instead of displaying a proper dropdown menu.
  • The first window remains empty (no content).
  • The menu options “Insert After” and “Insert Child” do not work or do not respond to clicks.

This issue only occurs on macOS. When working on Windows, the context menus function as expected.

The Quick Menu display or not is based on global option:

So make sure you have this on if you want it.

I checked the settings in the options menu and noticed that “Quick Menu for Elements” was enabled. I tried changing this setting once.

In the video, you can see the behavior when clicking on the menu.
I hope this helps with identifying the issue.

Additionally, I’m missing a Delete and Copy button for the selected element (Element X).
Maybe these buttons have been intentionally removed – but it's also possible that they are simply not being displayed correctly due to a rendering issue.
