Do you think Wappler will ever be set up as an app to work on things like an iPad ?
It would be an awesome addition to be able to use it on one of these.
Any thoughts @George ?
This would be a nice long term feature…
I know graphic design software like Affinity Designer have an ipad version… stripped down compared to their desktop version but still something for on the go creativity.
Be interesting to see what team Wappler say about this.

Yes we definitely want to go on that road on the long term.
That iPad is becoming a solid tool for designers and developers and already a great extension the desktops and even replacement of some laptops.
With its touch and visual support it fits our goal with Wappler perfectly to be as visual as possible.
It is just that Apple technology is a bit too proprietary and they do not allow much other native technology in their products yet - specially web technology, but this is changing bit by bit.
So on the long term great possibilities are coming

Perhaps a native Android version then?
A Native Android version with all those different devices and segmentation of Android - will probably never happen as we can not guarantee the high quality of operation of Wappler.
We will settle for a web based version that works on iPad safari then, thanks George

With the new Apple Silicon ARM processors there are already rumors of running MacOS from iPhone and iPad when connecting them to a monitor.
That would solve that issue.
Now that’s an idea
