What do you think should happen?
Should be able to select words in page to edit.
What actually happens?
Nothing. Nothing is selected.
Add a paragraph to your page or try editing text in a paragraph by selecting a word by double clicking or dragging mouse in the design panel.

If it helps to identify the problem, you can
select the text by positioning the mouse on the text
right click --> Reload View
Select the text
Thanks Marzio, are you on Windows or Mac? I just tried it on my Mac and it doesn't work and reload view seems to take about 30 seconds.

Hmmm, same here. I can place the cursor in the text. I just can't select any words to edit.
Hmm, I just discovered that it works as it should on all light themes but any other dark themes it doesn't work for me.
I having selection problems for some time
Even in the community, I sometimes have to close and reopen to remedy selection malfunctions.
I don't know if it depends on my mac on big sur or wappler

I just discovered something interesting. If I set Design View to Dark Mode ..
I can select text no problem. Hmmm ......
Ok, I have discovered that the selecting is actually working when double/triple clicking on text. However, the highlighting is in white and doesn't show up on a white background.
I discovered this because I can select text on coloured buttons no problem. And tables with striped rows I can select text on the grey rows but not the white rows. Even though the selection on the grey rows is hard to see because it is white on light grey but it is there.
Sorry can't really replicate your problem. Text is been always edited in design view by double clicking on it.
Maybe there is a specific text that you can't edit?
Selecting actually works but you can’t tell what you have selected as it hi lights the same colour as the background.
For me the selected text highlight is always blue, but can perhaps depend on the OS theme.
Strange. For me it is Grey in 6.8.0 and white in 7.0.0

Update: If I select a light theme in Wappler it works. Dark themes don't work.
Hmm, I just changed my hilite colour on my OS settings and it works. Doesn't work great but it works.
Dark Wappler themes the hilite is so dark you can't see the text. Light Wappller themes works great.
So I guess you can close this bug as not a bug. Thanks.
I'm experiencing a similar issue on MacOS with Dark theme. The text is not highlighted with sufficient background color contrast.
In the example below, I selected and highlighted the whole block, but it's showing that only the first and last lines of the block have been selected. If I select the text in white, then it doesn't even show any highlight background.
