Wappler 7 Beta: App Root Not Found in Design View

Expected behavior

What do you think should happen?

There should be no errors in the design view window.

Actual behavior

What actually happens?

There is an error picked up where there is no App Root Found. This only happens when a file is opened in Wappler. If you open the file and restart Wappler with the file open, the error goes away.

How to reproduce

  1. Open a page file from the files panel
  2. Notice that there is an error in Design View (Code view shows no errors)
  3. Restart Wappler
  4. The error is now gone.

You can ignore that error, it only happens when you disable App Connect in design view.

Right clicking and reloading the the view gets rid of the error.
