I love the two new panels.
But for me the game changer is the UI size setting. Even on my ultra-wide monitor I have it set to the smallest and I have so much screen real estate and the scrolling in panels is cut down significantly.
Thank you! ![]()

Agreed - this is a nice update. Kudos team.
Could someone post some screenshots of this UI size stuff?
Large
Medium
Small
Extra Small - works best for my 14" laptop screen with 1080p resolution.
I am still testing out how the new UI/UX feels.. since last time I could not event bear to test it with the bloated large UI. So far it feels buggy and uneasy to be honest - have used it for like 5 minutes. But will be working on it a while before sharing more.
Sorry, can you explain in more details which part you find buggy and why?
Will share once I have used it more.
The new UI scaling feature along with Network Panels & new grey interface iconography are great. Thank You, Well Done! ![]()
Loving the screen scaling. Huge amount of real estate on by 32inch monitor and can even use my 28 inch ultrawide in extra small for a really usable layout where before i always found it a little small.
Great addition team
The scaling is a MASSIVE feature. Iβm now on the smallest setting on a Retina display and itβs perfect.
Can we now have it store the window sizes? In particular the Split View? Every time I open a page I have to drag the bar so my code view is about 30%.
Have been using Beta as my primary Wappler version for more than a week now.
Have reported lots of bugs - which contributed to "feels buggy" - over the period. Most were fixed in the last week's update, few hopefully this week or next.
Its still a bit uneasy because of years of using a certain type of UI, and now working with a complete overhaul - primarily on how inputs and scaling works. But this should go away over time. Overall the new design is a good progression. ![]()
One recent big issue I can think of is that it does not remember the last opened project always. This is quite stable in 6.8.
