What's New

In this Wappler update we have completely rebuilt the Wappler online documentation from the ground up, with a new design, new structure, and new content, to make it easier to find the information you need and learn how to use Wappler effectively.
We have built upon our successful Wappler Tours content and structure, but expanded it with more detailed explanations, examples, and best practices for each topic, so you can not only learn how to use Wappler, but also understand why and when to use each feature.

So check it out at https://docs.wappler.io and let us know what you think!

The Wappler online docs are now based on our Wappler Tours which also which has grown up to 450 tours, so you can find a tour for almost any topic in Wappler, and now all that content is also available in the online docs with a new design and structure that is optimized for learning and reference.

The docs and tours now also now as reference and showcase the updated "Demo Projects HQ" which is now fully feature complete with files upload (Dropzone), rich text editing (Summernote), Tagify and date range picker, so you can see in a real world project how to use those features.

Furthermore we have greatly improved the Wappler UI scaling, so now depending on the UI Size you have chosen in the Wappler Global Options, the UI will scale much better, including the grids, the left layouts and popup sizes, the tree spacing, the code view and terminal font size, and more, so you can have a much better experience on larger screens and with larger UI sizes.
We have even added a new "Extra Large" UI Size in the Wappler Global Options, to allow even larger UI size useful for tours and videos.

A new option for theming the design view has been added, called "Design Theme Follows Wappler Theme", which is on by default, and will make the design view follow the current Wappler UI theme, so if you are in dark mode, the design view will also be in dark mode, and if you are in light mode, the design view will also be in light mode.

And of course we have many extensions updates, like Tagify and Summernote with support for automatic Bootstrap 5 dark theme support and others.
