W5 Looks great!

Just loaded the beta version and the new branding and launch animation look awesome!

The whole product has a more polished feel. I’m impressed!

I second that.

Only thing I’ve noticed so far is the system tray icon (Mac), because it’s so small, is indecipherable in full colour:

Yes tray icon is very small and indeed not very clear when in full color.

That is why the latest Mac tray icons are all block & white. Will see if we can improve that.

I work with so many stagnant apps that seem to never get any significant updates, so it is very refreshing that Wappler is not only very responsive to bug fix requests, but always looking to improve our user experience and add more components to help us develop faster.

I’ve been on Wappler for a little over a year now (or has it been two?) and I did not hesitate to renew my subscription and I never will as long as the price continues to match the value of the product.

I’m thinking it’s completely safe to use v5 b1 but are there any areas we should be aware of or should I launch right into b1 right away?

The changes are UI only, so the code will be intact in this version.

I haven’t had any issues yet. Definitely faster.

Installed on my m1 imac and the speed bump is very noticeable. Well done team!

So I’m looking to upgrade from 3.9.7 to a new Wappler.

Stability is the most important thing.

Who thinks I should just go straight to v5 beta?

It’s sounding pretty stable to me!

Would I be the only user who never touched all the amazing things in v4?

You can go to 4.9.1 until they release Wappler 6 :joy:
