Not sure what Teodor uses but if you are on a Mac then Giphy Capture works well and is easy to use.

An option for either Mac or Windows is Snagit. Not free, but a great screen capture program.

We use this to capture and then import in to either After Effects or Premiere for instructional videos. Very useful little piece of software.

Oh yeah can also use the NVIDIA screen capture gizmo-thingy-majig… Free too!
