Using wappler for backend

Is it possible to use wappler for just the backend development?
I prefer to custom code the front-end.
Anyway to upload the html, css, and js into wappler so I can use the backend tools?

To answer your question directly, yes, yes you could.

You could either code all the files manually with the built in code editor in Wappler or you could use VS or similar.

I would suggest, as would most people here that you’re better off using most of the built in front end tools and GUI of Wappler to maximise its potential.

You can also take a hybrid approach (like myself and i’m sure many others) where you use as much as the front end builder as you want, and then seamlessly edit the code manually. I have my desktop set up with Split view that has the ‘design view’ open and the code view. You can work in both simultaneously.

I think that is the preferred option. Use Wappler UI to add in components and make sure everything is ‘connected’ properly, and then hand code anything you want to hand code

Spot on. Not using the front-end features will massively reduce the power of Wappler.
