Using the PouchDB query component within a page flow to retrieve and filter data

In this module we look at running a pouchDB query in a page flow on page load, displaying the results in a table and filtering those records with a filter input

NOTE, i have increased the screen scaling to increase this by 25%, feedback on new format welcome

Hi Brian, the video is easier on the eye, but then I had no problem with the previous videos.

Most importantly, thank you for your inputs!!!

@Hyperbytes along with all the others in the community that benefit from your videos, many thanks!

My question is why you prefer to use page flows on page load and form post events instead of on success and on ready events?

Simply as I have had issues with those events in the past firing in the node environment so I tend to avoid them

The reason, knew there was a post somewhere

Thanks - also seen this before and my specific issue is the lack of these working on content pages.

Did not even think of page flows as a solution. Have always seen it as a way out of how things should be done “correctly” - almost like a cop out a no-coder would use on an app like Webflow or Bubble. No offence intended.

But if it is a universally accepted method, I am willing to use it more where needed.

Was going to test app flows on content and partial pages without any need for a trigger later today.

My attitude is what works is best!
