unable to edit basic text in design view - double clicking on text does not let me edit it, i have to go to code view
oops just found out only happens in description list / description fields- while text in paragraphs i can edit?
Can you please create a short video showing what elements exactly you cannot edit and what actually happens?

The description list is not directly editable in design view. You can set the text in the properties inspector:
