Unable to edit elements without multiple page refreshes

Expected behavior

What do you think should happen?

When I select any element in design view I should be able to edit it.

Actual behavior

What actually happens?

the wappler interface freezes up & I am unable to edit items. It shows that the item is selected but I can not alter it, for instance simple paragraph or list item text. I have to refresh or reload the page a few times before being able to edit an item. Happens on each page since Beta version 12.

How to reproduce

Simply in the course of working & selecting or editing page items.

Here is a simple screen capture showing how I am trying to edit a simple list item, after trying to click on the element to edit it I have to refresh the page to allow for this.

I can confirm this issue since before Wappler 6.8.0 and also has been reported earlier..

Can't get any more information on why is this happening, but also sometimes when going from preview mode to edit mode does this thing..
