Mac Intel if it matters.

found the problem … is indeed a mac only issue with the formatter dialog being called from the data picker. It can get stuck and not show.

Will be solved in the next urgent update, probably on Monday.

I am a little late to this and it looks like @George has already found a solution, however I was not affected by the issue at all until I was updating something on a single monitor system, and ran into the same issue.

The strange thing is that on the unaffected dual monitor system, if Wappler app is open on monitor 2 then the bindings and formatters pane opens up on monitor 1 still, and if i move the Wappler app over to monitor 1 then the bindings and formatters still open on monitor 1, its almost like the floating window is fixed to monitor 1 even if i move it over to monitor 2 manually, the next time i open, it reverts to monitor 1.

Maybe this has nothing to do with the issue at all but figured i would at least mention it in case.

Well it is a bit of mac only Electron issue when we do some logging of large objects, on the Mac, it usually crash or window get stuck, or if you are lucky or your mac is very powerful  - it may pass unnoticed for a few times.

On windows it doesn’t cause any problems, so that is why we don’t spot it directly…

Ahh ok, that makes sense, my single monitor mac is a pretty old 2012 mac book pro super slow donkey, so not surprising it would have run into a memory issue vs the m1 mac.

This has been fixed in Wappler 4.4.4
