Typing a long detailed AI query into the text input instantly deleted on pressing up or down keys, majorly frustrating, Is this an intentional function, if so why?
Pressing up and down navigates through the prompt history. It should however still have the prompt you've typed in history. The prompt input will be improved in the next update that will improve navigating within the current prompt.
