Recently while I’m working on my site in wappler (live) It will crash my web site and I have to contact my host. They tell me they clear the site cache and it’s ok again.
How do i troubleshoot something like this?
What is your server model?
What do you mean by “It will crash my web site” - what crashes exactly?
Are there error messages?
What cache are they clearing exactly?
Please be more detailed, than “it will not work”

they say it has to do with php versions? Them they said it will not happen anymore. I recently converted some pages to bootstrap 5 so I thought maybe it was that

Bootstrap has nothing to do with the PHP running on your server.
ok it was the only big thing that changed on my end. That is why I mentioned
I assume you are using a shared hosting server, which is why you have support from the host who take care of such problems.
Generally speaking, when you can run something on local, and it does not work on remote, contact hosting support.
Eventually, when/if you move to Docker and VPS based hosting setup, you will get such problems rarely - and when you do it will be a bit difficult to troubleshoot. But luckily, at that point you would already know a thing or two about checking server/docker logs to get some idea and ask the right questions. 
You are correct. I looked into VPS and the cost was prohibitive for my volunteer/free work. never time to shop for the best low-cost option.

A 404 error is a file not found, did you upload all files to the remote server after you converted the pages to bootstrap 5.
