I think we just pay more attention to those details than most people. I cannot answer the question, “Do you support abortion,” with a simple yes or no. To me it is very nuanced and the subtlety matters. I think in shades rather than binary. So when I write something like a tutorial or a story - I want to include all of the detail that matters to me. Because without it - it is a picture that isn’t entirely accurate.
