I think I had similar problem. If it happens again, try restarting wappler. I've run into several problems now kind of similar to what you are having that a restart fixed the issue. I've been so swamped with projects I haven't had any time to make any sort of error reports myself.

I've gotten this a few times. The css for bootstrap not loading. A restart fixed the problem. I've been running into lots of issues that a restart seems to fix.
