Love the new tags, but would suggest that the last tag selected from the choices becomes active (blue) so that when clicking on the formatter wand, something is selected.

It gives much better overview of the expressions indeed! And you can just type text in between.
Variables get also nicely shortened for better visual representation and on hover you can see the full expression.
We can still improve the shortening to be even better. Like in the case of Adriano above - .value is a bit ambiguous- you should rather see the input name there
Can’t wait to add the expression builder all over Wappler on all dynamic inputs! Will totally change the usability and design of property inspectors.

From a usability point of view especially for new users it is possible to create incorrect expressions as it concatenates the values as you select to expand. In the non-tag version it doesn’t add them in stages and it doesn’t add them if you select the little arrows only when you select the text. Gif below explains better than I can, not a major issue but thought you should know.

This is a very good point! We will improve it so expanding doesn’t auto select.
